Zverev will play in the BMW Open in 2022 and 2023

The ATP Tour 250 in Munich will be renamed in 2022. The organizers of the prestigious clay field event announced on Monday that American Express has signed a presentation sponsor. The With the BMW Open American Express will be held at the MTTC Iphitos Venue from 23 April to 1 May.
“We are very pleased with this stage and warmly welcome American Express to the ‘BMW Open by American Express Family’ now. A great development for the tournament and our position as an absolute world-class event here in Munich.” Stefan Zant, the managing director of the organizing office MMP Event GmbH, said in a press release.
Meanwhile, the world’s 3rd and reigning ATP final champion Alexander Zverev has signed a two – year contract with the tournament. The 24-year-old German won the BMW Open trophy in 2017 and 2018.
“I feel at home in Munich. It’s a special place for me, and I’m already looking forward to competing for my third title next year. said Zverev.
