Ava Trexler of Pittsgrove, New Jersey did well in her club team and finished fourth in the National Club Championship. Ericka Morris-Adams from Cheshire England played in the Premier League at the age of 15 and was later elected captain of the England U18 national team.

Two midfielders join Terps from abroad: Sophie Klautz and Juana Laskowski. Klautz comes from Oegstgeest, the Netherlands. Laskowski is from Buenos Aires, Argentina and has played for several club teams in several countries. His impressive performance at the Key Biscayne Hockey Club brought him the attention of the Maryland coaching staff.

Maryland also acquired two talented attackers. Therese Reese Delp of Kensington, Maryland, was one of DMV’s most talented players, earning the Washington Post All-Met awards in her junior and senior years. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Leah Horwitz has earned All-State respect during her junior and senior seasons.

From Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Argentina, the Netherlands and England, this category brings depth, diversity and talent to the world, Meharg said of the upcoming class in a publication.
