The best (and worst) reactions to the new name of the Washington football team

After 18 months of waiting, the artist, formerly known as the Washington Football Team, officially announced its new name: Commanders. Woooo? Many fans were confused at best, and no one – not even the President of the United States – felt ashamed to share their opinions with the world.

Much of the criticism was that the name was a complete nap.

Even after decades of chaos, lawsuits, and racism charges under the Redskins name, does Washington football need a boring name? Or maybe not.

There was a lot of commies going on, of course.

And talk about commando (the answer is always no, don’t do it).

Yeah. That’s pretty stupid.

And maybe a cheap scam from other, more valuable commanders. But when you think about it, Cap’n Crunch is an EXCELLENT nickname for Dan Snyder.

While many fans have a choice of a new brand, some are happy with the new name – automatic generation aside.

Maybe it will grow for all of us?

Here to take advantage of the doubts and reach the naming corridor for both parties: President Biden, owner of OG Commander.
