CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. Natasha Irani and Laura Lopez Giese were honored by the ACC as they were named to the 2022 All-ACC Academic Women’s Tennis Team, it was announced today.
Iran posted a 5-5 record in singles this season, including a 4-5 mark in conference play playing in the # 4 singles spot. She earned her degree in accounting from Boston College this past May.
Lopez Giese was 8-7 overall – and 6-7 in the ACC play – in the # 2 singles spot. She also earned her degree this past May with a double major – marketing and management & leadership.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic Achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
