Nembhard, a freshman from Gonzaga, turned heads on Dec. 5 when he not only played 41 minutes, but also dropped 31 points, yelling “Tyrese Haliburton WHO?!?!?’ on every run. OK, the latter didn’t happen, but the former did because Nembhard was in quite the three-game stretch. The thing is, before Haliburton got hurt and after he continues to play at least 30 minutes a night. His membership has gone from 7% to 53% in the last week to give you an idea of ​​how excited people are.

Bones Hyland (PG/SG DEN)

There will be inconsistencies in Bones, as we’ve seen over the last few games. He played 22 minutes, five minutes and 30 minutes in three straight games, but good nights are really, really good and the reason he needs to be added.

Walker Kessler (PF/C UTA)

Kessler has been quite productive lately for the Jazz, especially over the last three games. The minutes vary somewhat, but he has been a minute-by-minute beast for the Jazz. In fact, over the last three games, Kessler ranks 36th in fantasy with a line of 12.7 points, 10.3 boards, 94.1 FG, 3.3 blocks and 0.7 assists.

Jaylen Nowell (PG/SG MIN)

Nowell continues to make the most of his opportunity with the Timberwolves. He was a deep sleeper for the season, but with a roster filled with a who’s-who of talent, it’s easy to see why he was overlooked. But that was no longer considered, as he consistently plays 23-plus minutes and is in the midst of a five-game double-digit scoring streak that includes three games with 21 or more points.

Not that you’d notice because things just keep rolling in Memphis, but the Grizzlies got some bad news Wednesday night when it was announced thatDesmond Bane would be out for another 3-4 weeks. Not only does this make the Christmas Day game a little less depressing, but it also means that Konchar will continue to have success with the Grizzlies. He’s been passable in fantasy, posting 11 innings worth of nine-cat leagues over the last two weeks.

Moritz Wagner (PF/C ORL)

WithWendell Carter Jr. out, we waited I’m Bamba to be Magic’s biggest beneficiary. Instead, another Mo, as Wagner has taken Bamba’s place in the starting line-up. And the return has been surprisingly impressive. Wagner has posted two straight double-doubles for the Magic, averaging 19.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in the last two games. Ride the wave while WCJ is out and keep him watching how the minutes spread once he’s back.

Yes, we’ve been here before. I know. The biggest reason for the Warriors’ struggles this year has been the second unit. With it is Kuminga. But when he has performances like he did Wednesday withoutStephen CurryandDraymond Green it’s hard not to dream of the potential. Kuminga dropped 24 points on 10/13 shooting from the floor in 30 minutes. I still see him getting a bigger role this year.

Cam Reddish (SF/PF NYK)

Well that was fun. After seeing court this year, Reddish has been removed from duty in New York. It’s frustrating because there were really some flashes of him this season. I don’t see any chance he wasn’t dealt this year to a situation where he actually plays, so I’ll try to grab and stash if I have room.
