Top 3 stories of the week on RubbingtheRock.com

Merry and peaceful Christmas to all our readers! While you’re sitting around waiting for Christmas dinner or taking a nap afterwards, take a look at the three biggest Clemson football stories on RubbingtheRock.com this week.

Sometimes it’s close and hits the nail on the head, sometimes you know the article is going to be a hit when you write it, whether it’s good news or bad news, and sometimes they come out of nowhere.

That was the case when I wrote about DJ Uiagalelei’s crystal ball in Hawaii on Tuesday. That didn’t happen, as DJ was linked to Oregon State and later publicly committed to the Beavers on Christmas Eve, but the DJU to Hawaii story was by far the most read of the week.

This is starting to get interesting for a few years (maybe) in the Oregon-Oregon State rivalry Matayo Uiagalelei committed to the Ducks on Wednesday.

Sometimes the timing is right and our articles can span weeks, and so is the second most read story this week – Houston Burnett’s “Killing College Football” on Dec. 16 continues to resonate with Clemson fans. Check it out if you haven’t already.

One of our newest features, an early morning quick hit featuring the latest news and tidbits, has proved popular with Tiger fans.

Arguably the largest of the 2023 recruiting class signed by Clemson football, Peter Woods left no doubt about his selection

What’s more popular than plain old news? Well, when the 5-star defensive lineman leaves no doubt where and when he’ll sign, and that’s Clemson. Some doubted that Peter Woods would sign with Clemson, but Mr. Woods put an end to that speculation and helped our December 18th Clemson Tigers News become the site’s third biggest story of the week.

I look forward to the day when the top three post of the week ends up being one of the week’s posts!

Happy Midsummer from everyone at Rubbing The Rock, thanks for reading, stay safe and Go Tigers!
