According to the Head Coach of the Ghana Armed Forces Table Tennis Team, Master Sergeant Tagoe Moses, his side has improved tremendously over the past few years under his tenure.
The team has changed after a few years of management.
In general, the most important development roles and activities for their players have enabled them to become significant competitors in the regional league and national competitions.
Under his leadership, Augustina Baidoo, Eva Adom-Amankwah and Celia Baah Danso have all been instrumental in all competitive tournaments both within and outside the country.
They have also had great stints in both the junior and senior national teams.
Baidoo, Celia and Eva have individually won major prizes including the 2022 Sheroes Cup, Chairman’s Cup and National Championship.
In an interview with this portal, Tagoe Moses stated that he expects a very good table tennis atmosphere this year.
“I am very confident that this year’s activities will be very good for my players. We did really well for ourselves the last few years. We won big prizes and laurels.
He thanked his superiors and the management of the Ghana Armed Forces Headquarters for their support.
“My management and directors have been very supportive and encouraging, they gave us all the support, both financially and logistically. We wouldn’t have made it without them,” he said.
He emphasized that based on the support of his players and past performances, his team will continue to be successful this year.
