A tennis player smashes several rackets during an epic tirade while losing a match

Tennis player Alexander Bubliks’ rackets fell victim to his angry tirade during a match on Thursday at the Open Sud de France.

Bublik was the 6th player in the tournament and against Frances Grgoire Barrre, she was a heavy favorite because the latter was not ranked. But the result was not what you expected.

And it involved violence against the court.

After double-faulting three times in the tiebreak that decided the match, Bublik smashed his racket five times on the court as fans in the stands jeered him.

But all tennis players come into matches with multiple rackets, so the occasional tantrum doesn’t leave a player without backups. However, Bublik’s cruelty did not stop at one stick.

When he got to his seat, he immediately picked up another bat and hit it, causing the crowd to scream even louder in disapproval.

“Well, that’s getting the treatment, too,” said broadcaster Mikey Pereira.

Bublik, from Kazakhstan, tossed it aside and smashed another one as he continued to whip his arm downward with all his might.

“This is getting out of hand now,” Pereira said.

Finally, Bublik smashed the clubs, took the fourth and walked to the other side of the court. At that point, his latest double fault made it 6-0 for Barrre, and he didn’t let that lead slip away.

Barrre won the match in three sets 6-4, 6-7, 7-6 after winning the tiebreak 7-3.
