ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men’s tennis team opens its spring season with a home match against non-conference Otterbein on Saturday at 3 p.m. The match will be played at the Westwood Racquet Club.

* The Lions enter the 2023 season with a 2-3 record from the fall
* Behrend is the reigning AMCC champion in the spring of 2022
* The Lions had two AMCC wins against Pitt-Bradford in October
* Ritvik Nadikude (Hyderabad, India/The Gaudium School) leads the team with a 3-1 singles record at No. 1.
* Sophomore Jonathan Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) has a 2-1 record at No. 2 singles
* Nadikude and Laier are undefeated in singles
* The duo is 3-0 at No. 1 doubles
