Box Score OF PEAR, Wis. Adrian College’s NCAA men’s hockey team finished the series on the road with St. Norbert to close out the regular season. The Bulldogs split the series as the Green Knights lost 6-1.
Adrian scored the opening goal with a power play Bradley Somers leads 1-0 after the first period.
St. Norbert controlled the rest of the game’s scoring in the second period, which led to two more second period goals. St. Norbert added three more in the third to win 6-1.
Nic Tallarico started in goal for the Bulldogs, where he finished the day with 38 saves. Adrian was outshot 44-27 on the night.
With the Peter’s Cup title, the Bulldogs have the No. 1 seed in the Harris Cup playoffs. The Bulldogs will host the quarterfinals next weekend on Friday and Saturday. Their opponent will be revealed later tonight.
