Panther signs deal with Co-Lin Tennis – Daily Leader

Brookhaven High senior tennis ace Robert Adcock has found his next home after leaving Ole Brook, recently signing a letter of intent with Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Adcock already has one state championship medal in his career. As a sophomore, she paired with Caroline Kilpatrick to win the MHSAA 5A Mixed Doubles State Championship.

I am excited to have Robert join our team, said CLCC tennis coach Dana Hale. It’s great when we can sign talented, local players and Robert is certainly one of them. He is fundamentally sound and has great dual experience. I look forward to coaching our 2023 signing class.

BHS tennis alum Logan Case is a freshman on Hale’s team this season. Other local products who will play tennis in 2023 for the Wolves include Landon Banes (Brookhaven Academy), Caleb Myers (West Lincoln) and August Sullivan (Brookhaven Academy).

Co-Lin is scheduled to host a triple-header with Holmes and Jones College on Tuesday, February 21st. Adcock and his BHS teammates expect to be among the top teams in 5A tennis again this season. The Panthers will host Vicksburg High on Feb. 27 in a game at Brookhill.
