The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) announced today that Jeff Stewart has joined the organization as Chief Revenue Officer. He is the fourth front office executive hired by the club since majority owner and chairman Ted Segal arrived in 2021.

Jeff Stewart will be a game-changer for the club as we continue to build value for fans, partners and stakeholders,” said Jessica ONeill, the club’s chief operating officer. This national search led us to the talent across the street, and Jeffs’ relationships in the community and his understanding of the market are impressive. We were delighted to welcome Jeff and his family to HDFC.

Stewart oversees the ticket and partnership sales and service teams focused on revenue retention and growth for the Dynamo and Dash, as well as special event sales for corporate and private events at Shell Energy Stadium. Along with club management, Jeff will drive new initiatives around Shell Energy Stadium, Houston Sports Park and HDFC’s headquarters in EaDo this summer.

This is an exciting time to join the club and help realize a vision that will create lasting memories for our fans, partners and everyone in the organization,” Stewart said. The work done by the club during the offseason has been significant and a concrete example of the club’s upward path. I look forward to working with the club’s management to build on this momentum as we look to the future of the organisation.

Stewart spent the last decade with the Houston Astros, most recently as vice president of corporate partnerships and special events. In this role, he led high-performing teams that consistently drove double-digit revenue growth year over year. He personally negotiated long-term, landmark contracts with several Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies throughout his tenure. One of his latest initiatives was securing a seven-year shirt sleeve partnership that was announced just last month.

Stewart spent nearly five years at Six Flags Fiesta Texas before joining the Astros in 2013, serving as director of corporate alliances for the Texas market. Stewart has had numerous stints with minor league baseball teams early in his career and brings more than two decades of sports experience to his new role.

Moraga, California, is a graduate of California State University, Chico with a BA in Sociology. Stewart currently serves as a board member for the JDRF Southern Texas Chapter, a position she has held since 2017.

Stewart joins the club this week ahead of the first opening of the renovated Shell Energy Stadium on March 18, when Houston Dynamo FC takes on Austin FC. Dash fans will have their first chance to watch the team on March 26th at home against Racing Louisville. Season ticket memberships, corporate visit packages, group experiences and individual match tickets for both teams are now available. More information is available at www.HoustonDynamo.com/Tickets.
