Women’s Tennis Clinches MAC Championship Finish After Sweeping #4 Lycoming

NORTH BERGEN, NJ (April 26, 2023) The #1 ranked Stevens Institute of Technology women’s tennis team defeated #4 Lycoming in the MAC Freedom semifinals at home at Braddock Park in North Bergen, New Jersey, 5-0.

Stevens swept all three doubles matches and the first two singles matches to secure the five matches needed to advance to the MAC Freedom Championship. With the win, the Ducks improved to 9-9 on the season.

Graduate student Agatha Malinowski and the first year Stephanie Untermeyer won the first match of the day 8-0, led by Emily Wolfgang and Emma Kelchner.
