New offer to 2026 RB Jayreon Campbell

If you want to play football, come to Ann Arbor.

That’s the message the Michigan football program has sent to running backs across the country in recent years with the success of Hassan Haskins, Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards.

Now, the Wolverines have four-star Jordan Marshall on the roster for 2024, having traded him away. Ohio State despite being an Ohioan coveted by the Buckeyes. They’re also in good shape for Texas’ Taylor Tatum, one of the top tailbacks in the country.

The Maize and Blue will continue to work in 2024 and even 2025, so they are also waiting for the next generation of runners. Earlier this week, Michigan extended an offer to McEachern (Ga.) Powder Springs running back Jayreon Campbell, who has offers from Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Louisville and Austin Peay.

On his Twitter profile, Campbell states that he has a 3.8 grade point average, which shows that he takes school seriously. He’s 5-foot-11, 190 pounds — impressive considering he’s entered his freshman year of high school.
