A true king, take a bow: Mohammad Amir praises his favorite batsman Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli smashed a sublime century for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in an all-important eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. The win kept RCB hunting for playing spots.

It was the first game in the history of IPL where centuries were scored by both sides. Kohli’s six hundred overshadowed Heinrich Klassen’s magnificent 104 off 51 balls.

On his YouTube channel Inswing with Amir, he said that Virat Kohli has been his favorite batsman in world cricket in this era and nobody comes close to him.

Virat cannot be compared to other players of this generation. Virat’s achievements are incredible, said Amir.

Today he achieved another feat. This hundred was so special because it was a must0win game for RCB and he stepped up.

The shots he plays are incredible. We know his class and a big player always comes good when the going is tough. He has scored his first hundred in four years, the sixth in the history of the tournament.

He is the real king of cricket. If he plays for another five years, I don’t know how many records he’s going to make .. you never know, he said.

The win lifted Bangalore to fourth in the points table with 14 points and boosted their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs in their final league match against already qualified Gujarat Titans.

RCB’s hopes of semi-finals are alive now. I hope they play in the semis and finals and also win the championship, Amir said.

The left-arm pacer hailed Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Heinrich Klassens, who scored a magnificent 104 off 51 balls.

It was one of the best innings of Klassen’s career. He deserves all the accolades, said Amir.

Amir praised RCB’s opening pair of Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli.

I think these two are amazing. Faf is the leading run-scorer in the tournament and looks set to score more than 800 runs in this year’s IPL, he said.
