Ohio State Football fans are in awe of recruiting visits

Ohio State’s football program has the nation’s second-best recruiting class in the 2024 class. Part of the reason for this is that they have Jeremiah Smith, the nation’s second-ranked player, who heads that category. He’s yet another five-star receiver Brian Hartline brings with him.

We told you last week that he’s still visiting even though he’s committed to the Ohio State football program. Smith had set up visits with some other programs, including Georgia. Each recruit has one official visit to the college’s campus.

Buckeye fans are upset that Smith took a visit to Georgia shortly after Dylan Raiola, who decommitted from Ohio State, decided he wanted to play in Athens. Some fans sent him tweets which prompted him to tweet this:

I think Smith is committed to the Buckeyes for the long haul and just enjoys getting to see other campuses when he can. Heck, I would too. With these visits, you get all kinds of free ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ equipments and get to know the most stylish facilities in the country.

Not many Buckeye fans message him on social media, but it’s enough to get some people talking. I think everyone just needs to relax. I truly believe he will be with the Buckeyes when December rolls around and he can sign his letter of intent.

Unfortunately, with NIL now legal, this kind of thing is happening more and more often. Children shop around to get the best deal. I’m not saying that’s what Smith is doing here, but I can understand why some Ohio State football fans are nervous.

I’m sure Smith will end up in the Scarlet and Gray when all is said and done.
