Alabama Football is a dynasty right now. Many fans today may not remember the struggle Crimson Tide fans went through in the early 2000s.
In the Nick Saban era, the Tide are more likely to win a national championship than experience a multi-loss season. The rankings reflect the Crimson Tide’s continued success and the program’s improvement in recent years.

The record was later corrected to 0-2 after the NCAA imposed sanctions for violations stemming from problems with the distribution of textbooks in classes not attended by student-athletes, which could then have been sold.
