Exciting teenager Jayden Seales from 13 Proteas
Returns to batsmen Shai Hope and Kieran Powell
GROS ISLET, Saint Lucia The Cricket West Indies (CWI) selection panel today named the West Indian men’s 13-member team for the first Betway test match against South Africa. The test team includes one newcomer to Jayden Seales, an exciting 19-year-old express driver from Trinidad & Tobago and a former member of the West Indian Under-19 World Championship team in 2020, who has been very impressive since he appeared on the scene.
The panel also recalled top performer Shai Hope and experienced left-handed opener Kieran Powell. Hope last played Test Cricket in England in July last year, while Powells last performed in Bangladesh in December 2018.
