Mumbai: Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag launched cricket coaching site “CRICURU” on Wednesday to redefine the learning experience for novice players.

Each player’s curriculum has been developed by Sehwag together with former Indian batsman and batting coach Sanjay Bangar.

“The country’s first AI coaching site aims to provide a personal learning experience for younger players and help young people learn cricket by playing championships with 30 player coaches around the world and about four hours of curated video content with each coach.” the release was announced.

Coaches include AB de Villiers, Brett Lee, Brian Lara, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Harbhajan Singh and Jonty Rhodes.

“At CRICURU, our goal is to develop an ecosystem to democratize the learning of cricket in India and to close existing gaps.

“Our curriculum has been carefully designed to give access to coaching professionals around the world to provide an uninterrupted coaching experience for aspiring cricketers who meet international cricket standards,” Sehwag said.

Bangar added: “CRICURU’s vision is to provide access to cricket coaching for people living all over the country, even in level 2 and 3 cities that are easily accessible from the comfort of your home.”
