The discussion about cricket bat materials again got steam a research On 9 May 2021, researchers at the University of Cambridge published the title “Replacing Willow with Bamboo in a Cricket Game” (Research).[1] It investigated the use of bamboo as an alternative material to make a cricket stick against traditional willow use.
