As June draws to a close, temperatures will rise, as will the three-star tight-headed Colston Loveland recruitment staff. The Idaho is one of the newest Class 2022 targets for Auburn football head coach Bryan Harsin and his new staff, who are now competing with those on their old lawn for Loveland.
That’s right, Loveland also has an offer from Boise State Broncos, a former Bryan Harsin school, and one from Loveland’s home state. Recruited No. 1 from Loveland, Idaho four official visits so far According to 247Sports recruitment profile. He has traveled to both Arizona and the state of Arizona in addition to the state of Oregon and will return to Michigan on June 25th.
However, the Boise State Broncos is working hard for the state’s top recruitment, and Boise State is committed to Katin Houser to keep the state’s tight end:

While Loveland appears to be popular on the other side of the country, the Auburn offer is Loveland’s second from the SEC this month. Ed Orgeron and LSU offered a tight end earlier this month, and Alabama offered in March. Loveland credited his offer to both Brad Bedell and Bryan Harsin on Twitter.

If Loveland wants to get out of the Midwest into the SEC, Bedell and Harsin could offer him a little home on the plains. According to GBM Wolverine, Loveland planned to officially visit Colorado, but canceled the trip to visit Michigan instead, which could suggest that the tight end wants to play in higher-caliber schools, making the SEC the right place.
Loveland’s recruitment base seems to be growing, and if he continues to receive offers from big schools like Auburn, it could upset his recruitment process.
