PetrSU The Center for Adaptive Physical Culture is hosting an open PetrSU table tennis competition for the blind and visually impaired.
12 people took part in the competition. The event is organized by PetrSU Center for Adaptive Physical Culture, PetrSU Sports Club and the Sports Association of the Blind of the Republic of Karelia.
Winners:
1st place – Stepan Dyakonov;
2nd place – Oleg Orlov;
3rd place – Denis Ivankin.
Students of the “Physical Culture of People with Disabilities” design at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism provided assistance in organizing the competitions.
The table tennis section for the blind and visually impaired is open throughout the academic year 2020/21. year. The work of the department is led by Anna Lukina, a first-year student in the direction of “Physical Culture for the Disabled”.
