As the month of pride approaches, the NFL has released new promotional material that clearly expresses its support embrace the LGBTQ + community.
The 30-second dot begins on the line “Football is gay” when a light cheer plays in the background.

The video is a direct answer Public performance by Carl Nassib last week, according to Outsports. Nassib, the defending head of the Las Vegas Raiders, is the first active NFL player.

In addition to last week’s announcement, Nassib donated $ 100,000 to the Trevor project, a leading national organization that provides crisis operations and suicide prevention to LGBTQ + youth. The NFL followed suit by advertising the Trevor project in an ad, while reiterating the fact that LGBTQ + youth with at least one adult have a 40 percent lower risk of suicide attempts.
