PRINCE GEORGE Cariboo Hockey is hosting its first major ID camp in more than a year, on the long weekend of July, with the help of some of its former players.

The program has brought alumni back to help with hockey camps for several years. In the past camp, they brought back some of the most recent graduates, which allowed the alumni to be in a much different position than they are used to.

It’s a great experience for these guys who go through this program, says Brophy Dunne, Cariboo Alumni. I was here a couple of years ago and I think most of my development came with this organization. Everyone knows what they’re doing here when they come. We got great leadership in everything here.

Yeah its very cool, says Aiden Reeves, another Cariboo Alumni and current member of Prince George Cougars. I remember doing these experiments myself and seeing the older guys here, watching them and I just wanted to be like them, so it’s great to be in this position and be a couple of guys here.
