English cricket
Joseph Archie Gordon (born 18 May 2002) is an English-born cricket.[1] He made his first-class cricket debut at the Kent County Cricket Club against Sussex 11. July 2021 at the 2021 County Championship.[2] following the positive result of a member of the Countys First XI team for COVID-19, which required the players involved in the previous match of the Countys to be independent. As a result, a number of other XI players or “domestic potential”[3] was selected to the team and made their parents debut in the county.[3][4]
Gordon was born in Coffs Harbor, New South Wales, where he played cricket for under-14s.[5] He was a member of the Kent Cricket Academy, played age group cricket in Kent in 2016-2019 and in the second XI of the county in 2018-2020.[6]
