The Lisbon Club claims that Nerazzurri wrongly claimed many of the transfer clauses from the original contract that took the player to Milan
Inter has unequivocally rejected Sporting CP’s allegations that they had acted improperly by terminating Joao Mario’s contract as the Portuguese party was preparing legal action for his transfer to rival Benfica.
Sporting claims that the player was released in order to circumvent a strong transfer clause that would have taken effect if Inter had sold him to Benfica.
But Nerazzurri, who signed Marion in 2016 from Sporting, responded with a strongly worded statement in which they asserted the accusations were “unacceptable.”
