Chelsea wonderkid rejects new Blues deal to join Leeds

Chelsea’s young Lewis Bate is reportedly close to joining Leeds United in rejecting a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

The 18-year-old is highly regarded in the club, but is looking for more first-team opportunities he doesn’t get in his current club.

Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton are also interested in the midfielder, but he has chosen Marcelo Bielsa’s party Goal.

Bate stands at 5’6 ″ and is known to be a “terrier” in midfield and uses his body despite its very small size.

Making a comparison Steven Gerrard, Greenwood scored 12 goals in 18 matches in Leeds U23 last season.

Bielsa he also has good records of young talent playing in the Premier League, and Batee has been insured to secure his signature.

Elsewhere, the Yorkshire Club has re-interested in wolf star Adama Traore.

Leeds football manager Victor Orta signed Traore to Middlesbrough while at the club and told Wolves in January of a possible transfer.
