Over the past year, Google has helped 1.3 million Australian small businesses connect with customers, digitize and grow. But Google’s impact doesn’t stop with these 1.3 million Australian businesses, it starts with them. When Google helps small businesses grow, so do their people. This is the message in a new Google campaign, created by Emotive and directed by UNCLE at AIRBAG.
The campaign focuses on employee stories from three small businesses – Henry from Tom’s Outdoors, Henry from DRNKS and Bek from Buone Notti Backyard Glamping – and shows how each of them benefited in their careers and during the pandemic, thanks to the activities they has to work to grow online.
Says Richard Flanagan, director of corporate and brand marketing, Google Australia: “The challenges the past 18 months have brought to Australian small businesses and the people they employ have been immense. We are really proud to bring this job to life in a moment. where Australia is reopening. A work that tells the stories of three Australians, each of whom has been positively influenced by the fact that the business they work for has grown with a little help from Google products and tools ” .
Says Rupert Taylor, Creative Director of Emotive: “Business-centric campaigns usually tell the story of the founder, how they overcame adversity, grew the business and are now successful, so it was great to tell the stories of the people who working for companies, with real people, and how growth has also been positive for their lives ”.
The national campaign is launched today and will extend to digital, print and OOH.
