Apple Music will now be available on Google Nest and other assistant-enabled smart speakers and displays starting today in India. With Apple Music now available on Nest devices like Nest Mini, Nest Audio, Nest Hub, and Nest Hub Max, iPhone and Apple Music users now have more choices when it comes to where they can use their Apple Music service.

To set up Apple Music on your device, first connect your Apple Music account in the Google Home app. After it’s set up, you can easily queue your favorite playlist or artist to play them on your connected device.

Users also have the option to set Apple Music as the default music streaming service in the Google Home app for seamless integration and playback experience.

“You can now ask the Google Assistant on Google Nest and other Assistant-enabled smart speakers and displays to play your favorite Apple Music songs in India, Australia, Canada, South Korea and Mexico,” said Google India.

Apple Music subscribers can search and play songs, albums and playlists simply by using their voice. You can also use the Google Assistant to play music based on genre, mood, or activity.

India, Australia, Canada, South Korea and Mexico are the latest regions to offer Apple Music on compatible devices. Last year, Apple Music began rolling out to Nest and other Assistant-enabled smart speakers and displays in the US, UK, France, Germany, and Japan.
