[ad_1]

Mac fans have been a bit disappointed with the line-up of Apple Macs in recent years, however, the game has changed as Apple plans to release more Macs this year. Therefore, if you were planning to upgrade to Mac or upgrade your Mac, this is good news. The Cupertino-based tech giant is likely to present this year’s line-up any time before the spring event. Here’s everything we know so far about the Apple Mac lineup for 2023. Apple Mac Pro in silicon While nearly every Mac so far has come up with a silicon chip from Apple, the Mac Pro missed that transition. According to reports, the Cupertino-based tech giant needed more time for perfection to cater to the needs of Pro users, now the time has come and Apple is almost ready to launch its flagship computing workhorse. 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros Apple is known to release new MacBook Pros every fall, but that didn’t happen in 2022, for the first time since 2000. So, it’s long overdue on the Apple side.

As a result, new MacBook Pros are on the way though we won’t see any definitive updates. Both the 14-inch and 16-inch models will likely come with new chips: the M2 Pro and M2 Max.

MacBook Air 15 inch Apple MacBook Air is known for its compact size and brilliant performance, which comes in a tight budget. However, if rumors are to be believed, chances are Apple is working on a 15-inch device. It would be Apple’s second transition since 2016, when the company ditched the 11-inch Airs for a compact 13-inch. New Mac mini Aside from the Mac Pro, the only other Mac with an Intel CPU is the Mac mini. While this computer offers Apple silicon versions, it still uses the latest generation M1 chips. All of which means that the Mac mini line is in for an upgrade.

This update is slated for Apple’s spring event, where the Mac mini will receive M2 chips and possibly an M2 Pro option. That means the Intel Mac mini, a zombie computer powered by an outdated processor, will be phased out.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also said that the device is likely to feature an updated design along with more ports. However, Mac mini will likely use the same design, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
