Over the years, Microsoft has improved its video calling platform by adding new features, and the company recently introduced an option to set dynamic live wallpapers. This allows users to mask their real background with a digital background.

Platforms like Zoom and even Google Meet have long been offering custom wallpapers. The feature has been available for some time on Microsoft Teams and other video conferencing platforms. With the latest update, Microsoft has added more wallpapers. However, even now, it is not possible to add or load custom wallpapers.

Here’s how you can personalize your Microsoft Team by adding a dynamic live background to stand out at your next e-meeting.

Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Teams installed on your PC. If you have a Windows 11 device, chances are it has an updated version of Microsoft Teams.

Note that you have to join a call or you can even create a new call to customize the wallpaper. On the home page, click Join and the video preview will show.

After that, click on the background filters and select from the available images on the left side.

Download Teams and sign in using your email ID. Click the “Meet” option in the upper right corner and select Start Meeting.

Now click on the change background option and select the background animation or image to change the dynamic background on the Microsoft Teams app on an Android smartphone.
