Air Music Tech Launches Jura Analog Softsynth Plugin (50% Off)

[ad_1]

Air Music Tech just introduced Jura, their new analog softsynth plug-in, and it’s available for 50% off at Plugin Boutique through June 13 (you’ll also get a free Moog plug-in if you buy through Plugin Boutique).

You might be wondering if this is just another virtual recreation of a classic hardware synthesizer, in this case, the infamous Roland Juno.

Well that may not be the case.

Jura aims to fit into a modern music production studio with yesterday’s sound and tomorrow’s features, to quote the plugin’s slogan.

The 80s sound has found a resurgence in the last decade, with many radio hits from the likes of Charlie Puth, Tame Impala, Dua Lipa and The Weeknd, to name a few.

A very cool feature of Jura is its seamless workflow integration with standalone versions of AKAI MPC/FORCE, where you get full touch control of every parameter of the virtual synthesizer.

As for the user interface, it is divided into two panels: the original Juno-style front panel design plus an extended and modern user interface that offers all the modern improvements for more editing possibilities.

The VCF now includes saturation and drive parameters, along with two types of DCO, modern and vintage. There’s also a second envelope, not found on the original hardware synthesizer, to help you shape your sound more precisely.

Jura also comes with an expanded LFO section. It offers Ramp Up, Ramp Down, Triangle, Sine, Square, Positive Square, Random 1 and Random 2.

Where the original Juno shone was in its distinctive, luscious chorus effect.

In Jura, you get two types of chorus effects, like in the original, plus an added mix control to blend in the desired amount of effect.

To complement the sound, there is a powerful collection of effects consisting of Delay, Reverb and EQ. The Delay effect offers up to 2 seconds of delay, with sync, filtering and stereo width controls.

The reverb offers high and low cut, spread, damping, octave shift, and modulation, among other extensive options.

The EQ is divided into LOW, MID and HIGH bands, with the MID being the most flexible with a dedicated Q parameter.

Jura supports VST2 and VST3 plug-in hosts, as well as full support for AU, AAX and MPC/FORCE standalone systems. It also requires an internet connection.

Get 50% off Jura at Plugin Boutique and get the Moogerfooger MF-108S Cluster Flux plug-in as a free add-on.
