A YouTuber and “fast food addict” revealed how he completely transformed his body and lost a whopping 22 kilograms by completely overhauling his diet and exercise habits.

Mitch Orval, 24, of Brisbane, confessed to tipping the scales at 104 pounds before starting his diet and fitness journey about a year and a half ago.

Mitch now weighs only 82kg and has lost most of his visceral fat after embarking on a personalized meal plan designed by pocket diet coach Equalution.

“I was so unhealthy, but I treat my body like a car and now I see food as fuel,” Mitch told FEMAIL.

“My whole life is different since I lost weight, I don’t even feel the same person anymore.”

Mitch Orval, 24, of Brisbane, confessed to tipping the scales at 104 pounds before starting his diet and fitness journey about a year and a half ago, and now weighs 82 kg (pictured).

The 24-year-old said that while his diet looks very different now, for a long time he has focused on “getting the simplest meal possible, which used to be takeout.”

“Breakfast would be something like two pieces of sourdough with Vegemite, avocado, bacon, halloumi and three whole milk,” Mitch said.

“Normally, I would eat Uber Eats for lunch (a pub or Subway) and Uber Eats for dinner, a pizza or a fast food with ice cream.”

These days, Mitch has replaced his takeout habit with a weekly “personalized and balanced nutrition plan” created for him by Equalution that focuses on being in a calorie deficit.

A calorie deficit occurs when fewer calories are consumed than the body consumes.

Mitch’s plan was designed to include all of his favorite foods, such as mashed avocado on toast, bowls of Teriyaki salmon, spicy peanut noodles, and Koala Caramel baked oats.

He also said he can have a macro version of one of his favorite dishes, chicken and rice with curry sauce and chilli oil:

“I love the fact that with Equaalution you can work to recreate the meals you love in a calorie deficit,” he added.

‘Whole foods now make up 98 percent of my diet.

‘Nutrition is the foundation of a good body, and without it, your foundation is built on sand.’

The secrets of Mitch’s diet and exercise

* Keep track of your daily macros and record exactly what you are eating.

* Take shortcuts with your favorite foods and substitute them so you get a “fake” alternative to your best takeaway dish.

* Run three kilometers every day, regardless of the weather.

* Stay disciplined and responsible and make sure you write down what you are doing to stay motivated.

Since losing weight, Mitch has said his entire life has changed.

“Sometimes when I see photos or videos, I feel sad for the person I was and I just want to help him,” he said.

“I see the same thing in so many people today, stuck in the same toxic cycles and desperate to escape.”

Every day, Mitch now has people contacting him on Instagram to ask how he did it, and he has only one word for them: discipline.

“If you want to change your body, you have to sacrifice short-term benefits for long-term gains,” he said.

‘I am obsessed with them and discipline now rules my life.’

In addition to sticking to his daily macros and tracking exactly what he eats, the 24-year-old has been running three kilometers every single day without fail for 186 days.

‘I hold myself accountable by keeping track of my meals and snacks, and if I’m out for dinner and not sure what to eat, I use the app’s real-time messenger to chat with my coach, who then helps me find an item on the menu or a shortcut immediately, ‘he said.

Mitch designed an eight-week program with Equallution to help others shake off the burden he was able to shed.

Finally, she shared her advice for others who want to do something about their weight but don’t know where to start:

“With a little self-awareness, a touch of responsibility and a lot of discipline, I’d love to see you take stock of yourself in 12 months!” He said.
