A new week has arrived in Fortnite with new missions and collectibles. Each week is an excellent opportunity for players who prefer to level up their battle without paying to unlock the content. If you stay up to date with all the weekly missions and collectibles, you will unlock the maximum level of your Battle Pass without any problems.
While most of the challenges are relatively easy to complete, some may require you to plan ahead, forcing you to spend more time than you would on simpler missions. In that case, players can choose to skip a mission or two, which you can easily catch up with by completing other in-game activities.
XP Coins have been one of the most fun and effortless ways to increase XP gain in Fortnite and have been replaced by Alien Artifacts for the seventh season of chapter two. These alien artifacts are more or less the same as the old XP coins and are randomly distributed across the map every week.
We recommend that you collect them before the next set of alien artifacts are added to the game, and you can collect them all in a relatively short time if you know where they are.
Here are the locations of all the alien artifacts in Fortnite Chapter Two, Season Seven, Week Seven.
The first location of the Ancient Artifact: Dampy Dish’s Screengrab via Epic Games
There are some parts of the map that players won’t visit frequently. This is mainly due to their location and the fact that most of the action revolves around the center of the map.
You will need to go to Dampy Dish to collect the first Ancient Artifact, a location southwest of Slurpy Swamp. Land on top of the building with the antennas and jump one level below. Enter the building through the door to which a security camera is attached and look for the bathroom.
The first ancient artifact will be waiting for you inside the first bathroom.
The Second Ancient Artifact Location: Gorgeous Gorge Screengrab via Epic Games
The second Artifact will take you to the center of the map. Once in the center, follow the water channel that flows south. Gorgeous Gorge is located between the crater in the center and Lazy Lake.
Once you get close to the landmark, you will notice a strange looking bridge and the Artifact will float right below it. You will have to destroy the first floor to get close to the artifact, but be careful while doing this as you can also fall into the water.
The third location of the Ancient Artifact: Camp Cod Screengrab via Epic Games
The third ancient artifact on the list is located in another far corner of the map like the first one. This time, you’ll need to head to Camp Cod, a landmark southeast of Misty Meadows.
As you land at the landmark, move to the northeast corner of it. Enter the large warehouse-like building. The third ancient artifact will float above the building. You may need to build a ramp to grab it.
The 4th Ancient Artifact Location: Satellite Base Screengrab via Epic Games
For the fourth ancient artifact, you will need to go to another point of interest (POI) that is not marked on the map.
The satellite base is located west of Steamy Stacks, towards the north end of the map. Unlike other places on the list, this one is guarded by henchmen and you will need to arm yourself before you go in search of the fourth ancient artifact.
Once you enter the satellite base, you will need to take out the henchmen as they can easily shoot you while you are trying to collect the fourth ancient artifact, which you will find on the lower level.
The 5th Ancient Artifact Location: Stealth Fortress Screengrab via Epic Games
The fifth ancient artifact is potentially one of the easiest to locate. Land on the walls of Stealthy Stronghold and enter the watchtower which will be on the left if you enter the landmark from its main entrance.
The fifth ancient artifact will be waiting for you inside the watchtower.
The fastest way to collect all the ancient artifacts will be to collect them one by one in separate matches. You can leave after collecting each Ancient Artifact or play the rest of the game if you are looking for practice.
While collecting them in one go will be challenging, procuring a vehicle can help you do just that. Considering that you will be playing through to the later stages of the game as you try to collect them all in a single game, it will be wise to get a couple of weapons so that you don’t get knocked out of the game while trying to snatch one of the Ancient Artifacts.
You won’t necessarily have to collect all the ancient artifacts every week to maximize your battle pass as the normal weekly challenges will be enough to do so. If you are looking to unlock all the additional content, however, you will need to get your hands on all the resources that will grant you XP bonuses. Ancient artifacts and daily missions are perfect candidates for doing so. Ancient artifacts don’t stack, but you can always use the supercharge mechanic to complete your daily missions as efficiently as possible.
