NYSE: AMC closes another week of losses as the short squeeze of early June fades into distant memory. AMC Apes will argue that this is a drop worth buying, but what happens when the drop continues to drop? AMC shares fell 0.67% on Friday to end the tumultuous week of trading at $ 36.99. The stock has now returned almost all of the gains from the 25% rise it recorded on Tuesday, and it doesn’t appear to be seeing any sign of support on the downside.

AMC Apes has offered some pretty outrageous theories on the Reddit forums, and the latest one is squarely aimed at market makers. The hashtag #DarkPoolAbuse has been trending on Twitter for the past few days, as loyal AMC investors report large blocks of deals institutional investors are making in the dark pool. The dark pool is a separate market where large transactions can take place that will not have a direct effect on public markets. The monkeys are certain that market makers are using these dark pools to manipulate the price of AMC shares.
AMC stock forecast
The great irony with AMC is that loyal shareholders who voted against selling 25 million shares to raise additional capital, could push AMC closer to bankruptcy. Several analysts called this a missed opportunity for AMC, as the company currently had future debt of around $ 5.4 billion. Unless AMC can find the money some other way, AMC Apes may have unknowingly sealed the fate of the company.
