Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) finally made the decision to seek help with her alcoholism in a recent episode of Emmerdale.

The teenager resumed drinking to cope with the barn accident and Paul’s death and regularly caused drunken arguments with friends and family.

Now, with Vinny (Bradley Johnson) and Aaron (Danny Miller) by her side, Liv is on the road to recovery, but she finds it difficult.

To make matters worse, Shell soon faces other issues when she begins to suspect that Noah (Jack Downham) may have raped her.

After a rough night, Liv wakes up with bruises on her arms and no memory of the events of the night before.

While chatting with Gabby (Rosie Bentham), Liv begins to recall spending time with Noah.

While Liv is terrified of having to face the consequences of a rape, it doesn’t take long before Aaron and Charity (Emma Atkins) find out what’s going on.

With contrasting views, Aaron and Charity begin to clash and as Isobel Steele recently told Metro.co.uk, their differences over what really happened to Liv are likely to have a huge impact on the Dingle family.

Aaron just wants the best for Liv if something has happened. And Charity just wants the best for Noah and his name isn’t dragged out. This could cause huge problems within the family if it escalates.

This topic is close to both Aaron and Charity and their pasts, it’s hard not to let that get in the way.

Liv still feels overwhelmingly the pressure to stay sober, Isobel continued.

Sobriety and recovery are not linear. I think she thinks she has to get it right the first time and that in itself is too much to deal with.
