Yo Yo Honey Singh shared his first Instagram post since issuing a statement about his wife Shalini Talwar’s allegations of domestic violence against him. The rapper, in a post shared Wednesday night, revealed he is releasing a new song called Kanta Laga.

The rapper announced that he is collaborating with Kakkar siblings Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar on the song. The post also revealed that the song was written and composed by Tony. He shared the post with the caption: “Get ready for the biggest collaboration of the year! COMING SOON.”

“@desimusicfactory brings me, @nehakakkar and @tonykakkar together for one ultimate party hymn – ‘Kanta Laga’,” he added. The post received comments from many including Tony who wrote: “Much love and respect for Paahji.” His fans also said they were excited about the new track.

Honey Singh’s post comes about 20 days after he released a statement reacting to his wife’s allegations of domestic violence. In his statement, shared on August 6, the rapper called the allegations “severely heinous” and added that he was “saddened and distressed by the false and malicious allegations” made against him and his family.

“I strongly refute all the allegations but will not comment further as the case is pending before the Court of Justice. I have full confidence in the judicial system of this country and I am convinced that the truth will soon be known. allegations must be proven and the Honble Court has given me the opportunity to respond to such allegations. In the meantime, I humbly ask my fans and the general public not to draw any conclusions about me and my family until Honble Court delivers verdict after hearing from both sides. I have no doubts that justice will be served and honesty will prevail, “reads an excerpt from his statement.

Earlier this month, his wife Shalini claimed she had been subjected to numerous cases of physical, verbal, mental and emotional abuse. She also accused Honey Singh of repeatedly beating her.
