Manchester United fans have reacted after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer openly took the blame for their 4-2 loss to Leicester City.

Solskjaer was honest in his post-match assessment as he said “he made a bad decision”.

United had been second best in big games against a struggling Leicester side and rightly walked away with nothing.

Speaking after the game, Solskjaer said “I pick the team, Harry Maguire showed no reaction and I raise my hand if that doesn’t work. If we concede four, I probably made a bad decision. .

He added: “Lately we haven’t been in great shape, lost too many points and that’s something we need to look at. We may need to change, do we need more legs there- in it? What do we need? “

And after his comments, a number of United fans reacted to Solskjaer’s behavior.

Despite taking the lead in spectacular fashion thanks to Mason Greenwood’s fourth goal of the campaign, Leicester turned the game around on either side of the half, thanks to goals from Yuri Tielemans and Caglar Soyuncu.

United believed they had done enough to save a point with eight minutes remaining when Marcus Rashford marked his return to action in style, making it 2-2.

However, United’s hopes of reclaiming a point in the north were dashed when Jamie Vardy immediately restored Leicester’s lead to 3-2 a minute later. Brendan Rodgers’ side then focused on a great afternoon of work with a fourth time out during the summer signing of Patson Daka.
