After another allegation of sexual assault surfaced, CBS fired Noth from The Equalizer.

It’s hard not to question when these stories are. I don’t know for sure why they are resurfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women. “
Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis released a joint statement on Tuesday. “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” the actresses began. “We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. “I thought it was okay. It made sense,” Moynahan told Elle of Big’s death. “It’s part of life, it’s part of life for women and men of a certain age. That’s what happens. For me, it was like, ‘Okay, this is the way they get into it, tear off the -Help group. ‘ Good for them [for] be bold and be real. “
Moynahan later said that some of his friends had “real emotional and grieving responses” to the show’s first two episodes. “These characters have been a part of people’s lives for so long and they’ve really invested in the characters’ lives; they’re mourning someone they feel like they’ve known,” she said.
