Tadich Grill gets grilled for celebrating donor with assault allegations, rape jokes

Tadich Grill said Thursday that Dave Portnoy Day will honor a Barstool Sports grant he received last year, but that’s embarrassing given that Dave Portnoy is still a lawyer for several sexual assault allegations.

But they’re ready to declare Dave Portnoy Day at the restaurant on January 6 to honor their loudmouthed controversial benefactor.

You are probably not very familiar with Dave Portnoy or Barstool Sports if you have, for example, a paid job or if you graduated after the tenth grade. Portnoy is the founder of the site known for Assessing the Attractiveness of Female Teachers Suspected of Sexually Abusing Students, a fan base who loves to harass female journalists and for starting a rape joke tour in 2013. Portnoy is currently pushing back a string of violent sexual assault allegations that surfaced last November.

Portnoy himself seems to be enjoying the negative coverage Tadich Grill is receiving, posting a review of SFGate on Twitter and lamenting that the club woke up left / no fun has poo pants.

The Tadich Grill property is now in No Comment mode with respect to Dave Portnoy Day’s statement. Asked by the Chronicle last year, the daughter of co-owner Mike Bulich told the newspaper that there is no room for racism and racist comments, and that wherever in his heart he has the ability to do so. a significant difference for small businesses it does, and for that were grateful.
