H&M has pulled a Justin Bieber-inspired clothing collection from its shelves after the singer called it “trash”.

In an Instagram Story, Bieber said he didn’t approve of the lineup, which included items like sweaters, t-shirts and tote bags.

The singer said: “The H&M Merch they made of me is trash and I didn’t approve of it. Don’t buy it.

In response, H&M said proper procedures had been followed, but said it was no longer selling the products either in-store or online.

The retailer said: ‘Licensee Justins has confirmed that H&M has the correct contracts in place and followed all appropriate approval procedures for each selected design.

“Nevertheless, out of respect for Justin, we have removed the products from our site and stores, and have been working to find the best way to use them.

“We’ve been Justin Biebers’ business partner since 2016 and we’re very proud of the work we’ve done so far.”
