‘Bad Sisters’ Star Eve Hewson Responds to Nepo BabTheo Wargo – Getty Images
Eve Hewson is the latest celebrity to talk about New York Magazine’s iconic nepo babies cover. In case you didn’t know, Eve (who is incredibly talented) stars in Bad Sisters, which is truly the best show ever. She also happens to be Bono’s (occasional) daughter, which is where the whole baby nepo thing comes in.
While several celebs were a bit salty at being dubbed nepo babies, Eve took a more humorous approach, though apparently not everyone realized she was joking when she tweeted these thoughts the other day:
Eve clarified her stance on the nepo baby saga on Dec. 24, writing in part, “For those of you who just tuned into my existence, I get asked a lot of questions about my privilege. And I’ve always wanted to say how much my dad’s name helped me start playing. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunities I’ve had in my life. I chose to make a few jokes at this subject.
She added, “And to the bots and Twitter girls who call me a spoiled brat…please don’t forget to have a sense of humor in life. And try to be kind. We all need a little more kindness in the world. Lots of love xx”
