Liverpool star singled out for criticism in Chelsea clash 101 Great Goals

[ad_1]

Both sides entered the game having had a poor 2022/23 season so far.

Chelsea started 10th in the division while Liverpool were 9th. The Reds had also recently suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton in the league.

As a result, this match was huge for both sides, with the losing European hopefuls taking a major hit.

And, as of this writing, the scoreline remains stuck at 0-0.

Chelsea thought they had opened the scoring a few minutes later but Kai Havertz was offside.

As for Liverpool, they struggled to really test Kepa aside from some blistering efforts from Cody Gakpo.

Playing alongside Gakpo and Mohamed Salah in Liverpool’s front three, Harvey Elliott was dropped on the wing due to all the Reds injuries.

Elliott, however, has looked pretty mediocre so far against Chelsea and has received plenty of criticism from fans online:

I fucking can’t stand Elliott, oh my. He’s so bad and being on the LW makes him look worse
