SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Charles Omenihu has been arrested following an allegation of domestic violence in San Jose, police said Tuesday.
On Jan. 23, officers responded to the 300 block of Santana Row to investigate an incident of domestic violence, according to an SJPD statement.

Police say a woman called to report her boyfriend, Omenihu, pushed her to the ground during an argument. She complained of pain in her arm, according to police, but refused medical treatment when investigated.
Officers contacted Omenihu at the scene. He made a statement and was cooperative with officers.
He was later arrested on a domestic violence charge and served with a restraining order by investigators.
Omenihu was jailed at Santa Clara County Main Jail for misdemeanor domestic violence, but has since posted bond and is no longer in custody.
The case will go to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office for possible charges.
The investigation is ongoing and further details will be released as they become available.
