Sitting down for a cup of coffee and chatting with your friends is something you do every day. Would you like to do this regularly with your peers in the residential cleaning business from across the country and around the world? Now you can!

The International Residential Cleaning Services Association (ARCSI), a division of ISSA, now hosts a monthly Zoom meeting to do just that, enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat. Hosted by Gosia Baran and RJ Patel, the monthly Coffee & Conversation brings together ISSA’s residential cleaning community to talk about the critical issues facing the industry, as well as day-to-day operations and personnel concerns.

Each month, a special guest is invited to start a discussion around an important topic for the industry. In January, Liz Trotter, owner of Cleaning Profit Builders, joined the meeting to talk about setting goals for 2023 and shared some tips.

When setting goals or facing an obstacle, Trotter suggested participants focus on four things:

Are you on track to reach your goal this week? If not, do you need help? From whom? What is your bottleneck?

Trotter also encouraged attendees to have an accountable partner to help keep you on track to achieve your goals. Accountability partners are helpful because they help us HOLD US accountable. When this meeting approaches, we WANT to give our best, she said.

Coffee & Conversation is a great place to connect with your residential community, learn a little, and even enjoy a cup of coffee!
