Poker pro Ali Imsirovic admits multi-accounting and denies cheating allegations

In a 28-minute YouTube video posted on Sunday, accused poker cheater Ali Imsirovic wanted to ‘set the record straight’, and in doing so he admitted to some of the allegations against him, but also denied others. .

Within 15 seconds of the start of the video, the 2021 GPI Player of the Year admitted that from 2020 he ended up “making a really big mistake and started doing multi-account MTTs at this moment”.

Imsirovic, along with Jake Schindler, was accused in 2022 by several of his high-stakes peers of online multi-accounting and collusion at live events. Months later, they were kicked out of PokerGO Tour events.

The now admitted poker cheater, however, denied a claim made by Alex Foxen on Twitter last year. Foxen had alluded to shady behavior between Imsirovic and Paul Phua at a Triton Poker event.

Imsirovic claimed in the video that he had multiple accounts during a period of only “four to five months”. The poker pro with over $18.6 million in live tournament results, according to Hendon Mob, hasn’t been spotted on the high roller scene since the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP). Schindler, however , appeared in several events this summer.

Schindler and Imsirovic had previously refrained from making public comments regarding the cheating allegations. Neither had denied any of the charges against them, and Schindler still has not.

Poker pro denies Ali Imsirovic claims

Imsirovic has denied many of the allegations against him, including the claim that he recently ran an online poker cheating scheme. He called the accusation “completely f*****g ridiculous”.

The high-stakes player also said he has no more online poker horses and that multi-accounting and ghosting only happened for a short time during COVID.

Imsirovic would conclude the video by explaining that the cheating allegations have been “hard on my family.”

“I feel like I’ve paid all my dues and I want to get past that,” Imsirovic said.
