Scarlett Johansson has become a strong supporter of Woody Allen, expressing her unwavering support for the filmmaker. In her outspoken defense, she openly declared her love for Allen and her firm belief in his innocence regarding the abuse charges brought by her adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Scarlett Johansson was asked about her feelings towards Woody Allen, with whom she collaborated on three films: Match Point, Scoop and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. “I love Woody. I believe him and would work with him anytime,” Johansson said.

Johansson’s stance stands in stark contrast to that of actors like Timothe Chalamet, Greta Gerwig and Colin Firth, who have openly expressed regret for collaborating with Woody Allen after Dylan Farrow’s sexual abuse allegations against him resurfaced.

In her memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, Sharon Stone candidly shares her difficult past encounters with various men in Hollywood. However, one name that doesn’t feature in his tough experiences is Woody Allen. The actress appeared on SiriusXM’s The Michelle Collins Show to promote her memoir, where she discussed working with Allen professionally.

“[I] had a super professional and especially wonderful experience working with him,” Stone said. “I can say that the, while the [Allen v. Farrow] documentary may very well be one hundred percent true, that’s not my experience,”

HBO’s docuseries Allen v. Farrow spotlight the story of Mia Farrow and her daughter Dylan Farrow as they recount the painful time their family split from Woody Allen. The separation ensued after Dylan made sexual abuse allegations against Allen. Over the years, Woody Allen has vehemently denied Dylan’s accusations of child abuse. Despite the allegations, Allen was not charged, although a Connecticut prosecutor conceded there was probable cause for a possible criminal case.

Over the course of their professional collaborations, Sharon Stone and Woody Allen have shared the screen in several projects. They first worked together on Allen’s 1980 film Stardust Memories, followed by the 1998 animated feature Antz, and then reunited for the 2013 film Fading Gigolo.
