Khloe Kardashian is making waves with her recent water bottle remarks.
The 36-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star found herself in some hot water after posting images to her Instagram Story on Monday, June 7 of herself promoting her reusable bottle of a gallon Fidus which includes motivational messages on the side.
In the posts, Khloe slammed people she saw on social media who apparently poured water from single-use plastic water bottles into the Fidus bottle. She said it “upsets” her and “defeats the purpose” of helping the environment, and instead encouraged people to buy “water filter adapters” instead. connect to their sinks.
Later that day, she took to Twitter to defend herself after being questioned by some media and individual comments for seemingly mixed messages. After all, Khloe and her family members are known for hosting lavish events involving single-use items such as balloons, not to mention celebs are renowned for their love of elaborate flower arrangements.
