Kid Cudi responds to criticism of painted nails

Kid Cudi posted a response to online trolls criticizing him for painting his nails.

The rapper took to Instagram on Saturday to post a photo of himself wearing a helmet from The Mandalorian, with the caption “Mando Cud”.

However, a number of Cudi’s followers chose to ignore her costume and instead commented negatively on her blue and orange manicure.

Hours later, the star – who regularly rejects traditional gender norms with her fashion choices – responded to her detractors.

“I disabled my comments on Instagram,” he wrote on his Twitter account on Sunday. “Looks like people really have a hard time painting my nails. I’m sick of blocking so many accounts. I really need you to understand, if you don’t like me doing this or anything. Either I do, please don’t buy my albums, don’t come to my shows (sic). Holy shit. “

Following Cudi’s latest post, his Twitter page was inundated with messages of support.

“I LOVE YOUR NAILS BB,” wrote one follower, while another commented, “I think your nails are awesome.”

In April, Cudi starred in a bespoke Off-White dress on Saturday Night Live as a tribute to a look the late Kurt Cobain once wore in the 1990s.

Responding to the mixed reaction to the choice of outfit during an appearance in HBO Max’s The Shop: Uninterrupted, the 37-year-old insisted he wasn’t in the least concerned.

“I’ve never been someone who likes to think about backlash. I don’t care what people think. You can’t when you do this shit. I knew it would be p ** Some people walk away, but I love it. Because hip-hop is so weird about shit, ”he added.
