NEW YORK The US Conference of Catholic Bishops announced the resignation of its top administrative official ahead of a media report probing his private dating life and alleging “possible inappropriate behavior”.
Monsignor Jeffrey Burrill was the general secretary of the conference, coordinating various administrative matters.
